Alex Magee - Farnham Angling Society, 1906-1960, A History
Published by the Farnham Angling Society
The Farnham Angling Society is approaching its centenary and controls no less than twelve lakes and eight miles of river, five of which are on the Wey. One of the club’s best features is the way it caters for disabled anglers and several of its waters have specially constructed swims which not only ease disabled access, but where disabled anglers have priority – there are even disabled toilets. This book should appeal to anyone interested in the club, or in local history of the area, as it is a pleasing mix of facts, photographs and interviews which tell the society’s story very well indeed.
