Rick Keam (ed) - The Flyfishers Annual

Autralian Fishing Network

Various years of this are now available and I can’t think how something as good as this has passed me by for so long, but having seen a coupe of copies, I am an enthusiast.

The Annuals I have seen have 96 pages of large format text, with mouth-watering colour illustrations and a broad sweep of articles, which, while they pay homage to the Annual’s Antipodean origins, range the globe from an admirably frank piece on what the Test has become, to a pictorial on Vanuatu that could only have been improved by being much longer. If you are from the Antipodes, you probably have this, so get on and read another review - if you aren't, then you need to find some copies, pronto, because the Annual is a bit special.

Available in the UK and the US through the usual channels.
